As a 5th year students, I have so many things going on in mind: homework, school work, job, career, and so on. Sometimes I really want to go somewhere and just give myself some free time to relax and stay away from all stress. There are some places I found on campus I really like to go and enjoy my free time there.
Engineering building: Before you go into CS building (GOL) from Engineering hall (ENG), instead of going upstairs you go straight, there are couple chairs, tables and sofa there for you to chill a little bit. I like there because there are always full of sunshine and warmth in the afternoon. I sometimes go there for lunch and stay a while before class. There is the best place for a nap.
Institute Hall: On the second floor of institute hall, there is a place for studying facing outside of RIT. I usually call this building as the building with RIT lights. The studying place is around by glasses on the outside. When you sit there, you can include all views into your eyes. Especially Fall time now, it is very beautiful. You can see students come and leave. You can see colorful trees at the edge. You may also see students playing skateboarding there.
Campus center: The second floor of campus center is a lounge area with sofa and carpet. You can enjoy the cozy there with a friend or two. Buy an ice cream from Ben&Jerry’s and read a book there.
Winter is coming so all above places are inside area. They are definitely warm. I shared my cozy places with you. Let me know if you find some place in RIT you like.
